Efficient SAT/TV Distribution over Optical Fiber
- The Terra OTM302T transmitter offers flexible TV/SAT distribution options including:
- Traditional multiswitch systems
- dSCR/Unicable installations (EN50494, EN50607 compliant)

The system enables signal transmission from two satellite positions and terrestrial TV over one fiber optic link when combined with optical multiplexers. This compact design is ideal for modern buildings and large-scale fiber optic networks.
Wide Compatibility
The OTM302T optical transmitter works seamlessly with a variety of TERRA optical receivers, including:
- ORF202 E (Wideband output)
- ORQ302 E (QUATRO + DVB-T2 output)

- ORQ302F E (QUATRO + Wideband + DVB-T2 output)
It is also compatible with Wideband LNBs like A98222 and low-noise LNBs such as the LWB202L A98210 for combined SAT and DVB-T2 input.
Versatile Inputs and Outputs
The transmitter is equipped with five F-type connectors for flexible system integration:
- DC OUT 13V – Vertical polarity V input
- DC IN/OUT 18-20V – Horizontal polarity H input
- UHF+VHF DC OUT 12V – For combined FM/DAB+/TV signals with optional voltage separation
- VHF input – Dedicated for FM/DAB+/TV signals in the VHF band
- DC IN 18-20V – Power input (recommended power supply: R71468)
The maximum LNB-to-transmitter cable length is 10 meters. For longer distances, an EQF equalizer (R50204, R50208, R50212) may be required.
Additional Options
Customers can also select the OTF302 6F55 E TERRA optical transmitter (1550 nm) for additional SAT positions. By using optical multiplexers, distribution of two SAT signals and terrestrial TV over one fiber becomes possible.
Custom fiber patch cords with user-specified connectors are available upon request.
