Terra MR-532 5/32 Multiswitch (Active Terrestrial Path, Class A)
Product Overview
The Terra MR-532 is a high-end 5-input and 32-output radial multiswitch designed for professional small and medium-sized SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) installations. It efficiently distributes satellite TV signals from one satellite (via a Quatro LNB) alongside terrestrial TV (DVB-T/T2, DAB) and FM radio broadcasts to up to 32 single outlets or 16 PVR twin receivers.
Built with reliability and performance in mind, this Class A device features an active terrestrial path, built-in pre-correction of cable attenuation, and robust die-cast housing for maximum screening efficiency. As a trusted partner, dvbmarket.com proudly serves as the official Terra distributor for the European market, ensuring access to top-tier TV/SAT distribution components with full technical support.
Key Features
-
High-Capacity Distribution: 5 inputs (4x SAT IF, 1x Terrestrial TV) and 32 legacy outputs.
-
Active Terrestrial Path: Enables integration and amplification of DVB-T/T2, DAB, and FM radio signals with a built-in preamplifier power supply (12 V DC / 100 mA).
-
Signal Equalization & Pre-Correction: Built-in cable loss correction compensates for frequency-dependent attenuation differences across long cable runs.
-
Grouped Output Levels: Outputs are divided into groups with different signal levels to balance attenuation across various cable lengths, ensuring uniform signal strength at all terminal outlets.
-
Class A Shielding Efficiency: High-quality die-cast enclosure prevents external electromagnetic interference.
-
Versatile Topology: Optimal for star-topology systems in single-family homes, residential buildings, and modern housing developments.
-
Reliable Power Supply: Integrated 230 VAC power supply capable of powering adjacent system components.
