Application
Corning Cabelcon CX3-RG11 pressure connectors were developed for digital multimedia applications and fully comply with EN 50083, class A standards. CX3-RG11 connectors have a very low transfer impedance - lower than 0.2 mOhm/connector in the return channel band range (5 - 30 MHz). . It is a very important factor for isolation efficiency in return channel applications.
Design
The CX3-RG11 connectors have a movable center pin, embedded in the connector body. The mandrel automatically extends when the cable is pushed in with the CX3 compression pliers. One-piece connector construction with free-rotating nut for hex key no. 14 mm (9/16") allows for easy and reliable installation. Type designation and trim dimensions are marked on the connector body for clear identification and on-site measurement.
All standard compression tools can be used. The dimensions for trimming are standard 6.5 mm / 6.5 mm (1/4" / 1/4") in preparation for compression mounting. No additional sealing is required. The O-ring in the front part ensures a waterproof connection according to the IPX8* standard.
